DESCRIPTION:
Working principle of 2CY gear pump:
This pump is a positive displacement pump. The main and passive gears, pump body, and left and right pump covers form two enclosed spaces for oil inlet and outlet. When the gears rotate, the volume of the oil inlet chamber increases from small to large due to the continuous disengagement of the meshing teeth. Forming a vacuum, the liquid is sucked in, and a toothed groove is carried towards the oil chamber. The volume of the oil outlet chamber becomes larger and smaller due to the continuous entry of the meshing teeth, and the oil is compressed and discharged, thereby achieving the purpose of transporting oil.
Use and installation of 2CY gear pump:
1. The unit should be installed on a horizontal cement foundation and fixed with anchor bolts.
2. The right coupling should be coaxial. After installation, rotate the coupling to confirm smooth operation without negative pressure before entering operation.
3. The pump is not suitable for conveying unclean oil, so an oil filter should be installed at the end of the inlet pipe.
4. The pump does not have a safety valve. It is recommended to install a safety valve in the oil discharge pipeline to confirm the safe operation of the system.
5. The installation height of the pump should not exceed the allowable suction height.
6. The rotation direction of the pump is counterclockwise when viewed from the pump end towards the motor.
Precautions for 2CY gear pump operation:
1. Before starting up, check whether the pump shaft rotates flexibly, whether there is any jamming phenomenon, whether the valves on the inlet and outlet pipelines are open, and whether the rotation direction of the pump is correct.
2. Before starting a pump that has not been used for a long time, a certain amount of lubricant should be injected into the pump chamber to reduce dry friction during the oil suction process and improve the pump's self suction performance.
3. If there is any abnormal noise or overheating after starting up, the car should be stopped immediately for inspection.
4. Check if there is any leakage at the pump shaft end. For example, the packing seal should be appropriately tightened and the pressure cover should be tightened. For other seals, they should be disassembled and inspected.
5. If hot oil is transported, it should be preheated evenly during driving. Preheating is carried out continuously through the pump body using the medium being transported.
6. When the pump stops, first cut off the power supply, and then close the valves on the inlet and outlet pipelines to avoid causing the pump to reverse.
